Wednesday, May 28th Perch
Perch was our 'ringer' in the marathon, setting down a 6'10" first mile in his 6.1 mile, 3rd leg of the marathon. Final team time was 3 hours, 42 minutes and 10 seconds.....our best time in a long time.
Tuesday, May 27th Mo takes on the Beltway
Maurine set us on a great pace for the race as she ran the 2nd leg of the marathon relay up and back on the 'beltway'. Good job MO!!!!
Monday, May 26th Don on Church Street
Don hurries down Church Street to start our team off on the marathon relay on Sunday.

This is just one of 'our' many hummingbirds that visit the feeder on the front porch. This picture looks processed, but was just focused on through the railing uprights, so it has some hazy white framing to set the bird off.

Thursday, May 1st Turtle Crossing
This big old snapping turtle was very slowly crossing Swamp Road last night as I was driving into town. I stopped and got out with my camera to take a photo.
